The Beauty of Ben Nevis

Good evening peeps,

I’m going to share my pictures (and my friends’ as well) in Ben Nevis. We took a 6pm bus from Glasgow to Fort William and stayed for a night in the town (Ben Nevis Hotel & Leisure Club) because we planned for a morning hike with Kingdom Guide on Sunday.

Alas, we couldn’t make it for the hike, and it was (in my opinion at least), a blessing in disguise. We took on the easier path without a tour guide for 8-hours trip back and forth to the top of Ben Nevis.

Did minimum editing with the picture above (only some adjustment on the colour) but the result is amazing because the light was pretty bright on that day (though it snowed some time in the noon).

Remember to go down the lake and explore a little whenever possible. The water was a little chilly, but it was very clear. See how the mountains are reflected on the surface of the water?kll2m

The best view in my eyes were not the top of Ben Nevis, but rather the journey up there, about half an hour before we reached the stony path of the peak. The best scenery was the formation of a few lakes, separated only by mountains, with the blue sky on top, and in that moment, you truly felt free, your heart started beating quickly in excitement, and you found yourself lost in the moment.nopqrs
